History and Development of the Company


    Euro-Box Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1992 by Bernard Jakubowski. Its beginnings were challenging, with operations initially based in Wrocław. However, logistical issues due to the distance from the German border soon led to the company relocating to Ługów near Świebodzin. This marked the start of development on the grounds of a former manor farm, which had served as a state agricultural enterprise (PGR) in the post-war years. The property, purchased in 1995, underwent extensive modernization and expansion carried out by Euro-Box.

    Initially, the company specialized in the trade of locks, later expanding its operations to include the sale of metal products and powder paints, which were subsequently used as components for the production of metal enclosures. It was the high-quality manufacturing of these enclosures that built the company's capital, enabling further growth and investment in new technologies and infrastructure.

    In 1996, the company installed a stork nest on a pole, which quickly became a symbol of its closeness to nature and inspired the creation of the company logo, featuring a nest with two storks. Since then, the nest has become an integral part of the company’s landscape, with storks returning each year to raise their young. To date, 84 young storks have hatched there, a source of pride and joy for the company.

Development Over the Years

Over more than two decades, Euro-Box has undergone an impressive transformation:

  • 1996: The company took a significant step forward by opening a small powder coating facility. This investment marked the beginning of production operations and laid the groundwork for the modern coating plant the company operates today.
  • 1997: Launch of the aluminum polishing department, signaling a new direction for the company.
  • 2000–2010: A period of intensive growth during which the company secured key grants that facilitated the construction of new facilities and investments in advanced CNC machinery, significantly boosting production capacity.
  • 2010: Acquisition of a metal products manufacturing plant in Świebodzin.
  • 2015: Purchase of a galvanizing plant in Brójce, where an automated line for rack and barrel zinc plating was implemented.
  • 2017: Acquisition of a recycling plant in Międzyrzecz.
  • 2021: The company entered the online market, introducing its products on popular e-commerce platforms.
  • 2023: Launch of the company’s own online store, offering customers easier access to its products.

Through dynamic development, Euro-Box has become one of the leading metal manufacturing companies in Poland and Europe.

Adapting to a Changing World

    Over the years, the company has adapted to changing market conditions, including globalization. By introducing modern technologies, Euro-Box has positioned itself as a competitive player in European markets. The company operates using a closed production loop, minimizing the need for subcontractors and ensuring full control over quality.

  • ISO 9001:2015 Certification: Obtained in 2004, this prestigious certification confirms the quality of our processes and management. It is regularly renewed every four years to maintain the highest operational standards.
  • Gazela Biznesu Award: Recognized by the “Plus Biznesu” journal in 2008, 2013, and 2014 as one of the fastest-growing companies in Poland.
  • Local Projects: Financial support for local schools and communities.
  • Photovoltaics: In 2022, solar panels were installed in Ługów and Świebodzin, leading to a 12% reduction in electricity consumption. Plans are in place to expand the system to a capacity of 250 kW to further reduce the company's carbon footprint.

Scope of Operations

    Euro-Box now operates across Europe, with key markets in Poland and Germany. The high quality of its products and strong customer relationships have facilitated partnerships with major corporations. Despite global challenges, the company retains a local character, supports employee development, and prioritizes environmental protection. The stork nest on the company premises remains not only a symbol but also proof that modernity and care for nature can coexist. Year after year, Euro-Box demonstrates that experience and innovation are the keys to success.
